Claire M. Zangerle, RN, MSN, MBA
President and Chief Executive Officer
Claire Zangerle brings a wealth of clinical experience and innovative business practices to her role as President and Chief Executive Officer. Before joining VNA of Ohio in 2008, Claire served in a variety of roles including Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Quality at the Cleveland Clinic. She currently serves on the Board of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the Greater Cleveland Healthcare Association, YWCA of Greater Cleveland, and is a founding member of the Circle of Red Society of the American Heart Association and InCounsel with Women. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Texas A&M University, Associate Degree of Nursing from Houston Baptist University, a Masters in Business Administration from Lake Erie College and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Kent State University.

Lisa Kristosik, RN, BSN, MSN
Chief Operating Officer
Lisa Kristosik brings years of supervisory knowledge and oversees all clinical and operational aspects of home health and hospice services. Lisa is charged with the development and execution of the clinical and operational policies and procedures and the supervision of the day-to-day operations including exceeding quality standards, and team and culture management. Joining the organization in 2010, Lisa has served as Director of Nursing, Associate Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Clinical Officer. Before VNA of Ohio, she served as the Director of Home Health at Montefiore. Lisa holds an Associate Degree from Lakeland Community College in Nursing and Medical Technology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University.
Christine Marsick, JD, MD
Medical Director, VNA of Ohio Hospice
Dr. Christine Marsick is responsible for the medical components of the hospice program including oversight of nursing care for each patient. She offers counsel to patients and families navigating hospice and end-of-life care, while providing leadership and education for the hospice interdisciplinary care team. Before permanently joining VNA of Ohio in 2013, Dr. Marsick acted as the organization's on-call physician since 2010. Previously, she served as house surgeon at Robinson Memorial Hospital and Marymount Hospital. Dr. Marsick received her Bachelor of Art in Comparative Literature from Cornell University, her post-baccalaureate Premedical Program Certificate from Columbia University, and her Juris Doctorate and Medical Doctorate from the University of Illinois.
Emily Smayda Kelly, Esq.
Emily Smayda Kelly oversees litigation, labor negotiations, contractual relations, and advises on various legal issues for the organization. Prior to joining VNA of Ohio in 2011, Emily served as in-house counsel for a skilled labor supplier, an associate at a boutique union law firm, and assistant director of law for the City of Cleveland. Emily is a member of the Cleveland-Marshall Alumni Association and the Mentor Program for the Cuyahoga County Bar Association. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Case Western Reserve University and her Juris Doctorate from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.
Dana Traxler, RN, BBA
Chief Business Development Officer
Dana Traxler brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to the organizaiton and serves as the Chief Business Development Officer. Responsible for the marketing, business development and fund development strategies, she builds and maintains strategic partnerships with referral sources and community agencies. Dana was instrumental in the development of VNA of Ohio throughout the region in 2000. She has served as a Clinical Manager and a Registered Nurse in both the acute and post-acute care settings. Dana received her nursing degree from Marion Technical College and her Bachelor in Business Administration from Mt. Vernon Nazarene College.
Teresa J. Wimms, RN, MSN
Chief Administrative Officer
Teresa (Terri) Wimms oversees the organization's Information Technology, Human Resources, Facilities and Fund Development departments. Terri collaborates with executive leadership on clinical and business process improvement, business intelligence functions and assures technology integration in alignment of strategic goals. Before transitioning into her role as CAO in 2014, Terri served as the organization's Chief Informatics Officer since 2008 and Director of Nursing Informatics at the Cleveland Clinic. Terri currently serves on the Board of Directors for Family Promise of Greater Cleveland and the Advisory Council for McKesson Homecare amongst other affiliations. Terri is a registered nurse who holds a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Science with Informatics Specialty from Case Western Reserve University.
