CLEVELAND, Ohio (March 1, 2018) – On Wednesday, Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio’s (VNA of Ohio) Board of Directors voted to confirm the appointment of Mary Lou V. Stricklin, MSN, APRN, FAAN, EMBA to the VNA Board. The former President and CEO of VNA of Ohio (1988-2008), Stricklin now runs The Arts for Healing and Stricklin Consulting in Cleveland. She is a certified holistic nurse practitioner, educator and nonprofit business consultant. Nationally recognized in the nursing profession and nonprofit management, she is the recipient of numerous recognitions and awards.

“Under Mary Lou’s leadership, VNA of Ohio expanded its mental and behavioral health services to patients who required in-home services of psychiatric nurses and social workers,” said Lisa Kristosik, MSN, RN, President and COO of VNA of Ohio. “That was a game-changer for our organization and for home care in general. We look forward to once again learning from such a visionary leader in health care.”

“Not only is Mary Lou a tireless visionary leader in health care, she is a thoughtful, reflective person who is able to connect personally with employees and industry leaders alike,” said Steven Landers, MPH, MD, President and CEO of VNA of Ohio and its parent organization, Visiting Nurse Association Health Group. “She is a welcome presence on the Board and will be a great resource to both VNA of Ohio and VNA Health Group.”
