Fairways to Caring Golf Tournament
We are thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio’s (“VNA of Ohio”) “Fairways to Caring” golf event to be held on Monday, July 11th at Red Tail Golf Club in Avon, Ohio! Treasures of Cleveland 2022
Treasures of Cleveland, which has been on hold because of the Pandemic, will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Gordon Green in Tremont, Ohio.
At this event VNA of Ohio celebrates the people, organizations and places that are both treasures of Cleveland and treasures of VNA of Ohio. In 2022 we will honor longtime supporter and Board member Paula Shaw and her husband, Hewitt, with our Art of Caring Award, along with honoring our Corporate Community Partner of the Year - Busch Funeral and Crematory Services. The caterer for the event will be Spice Catering Company and the Cleveland Keys will be presenting our entertainment for the night with dueling pianos. It is sure to be a great time!

VNA of Ohio 120th Anniversary Celebration Activities
Can you believe we are celebrating our 120th anniversary? VNA of Ohio is one of the oldest charities in Cleveland and has been providing healthcare in the comfort of home longer than any other organization in Northern Ohio.
To thank our wonderful staff for their hard work we hope to have as many staff appreciation events/items as possible in 2022. Each month we will have a “theme”, with social media posts and blogs to educate each other on what we do at VNA of Ohio. Some of the events are open to everyone, so we thought we would share:
VNA of Ohio Monthly Themes
In March, our theme was social work and we celebrated our social workers by giving them a fun plant and posting lots of posts on social media about their awesome services.
In April our theme was Nursing Education, and we created social media posts and a blog around education with Anne Simmons – you can find our blog here https://www.vnaohio.org/blog
In May, our theme is Mental and Behavioral Health, but it is also Nurses Week, so we will be celebrating with lots of social media, blog posts and two special activities.
Mental Health Awareness Live Q&A
Amy Silbaugh and Tara Brown will host an educational session on Wednesday, May 25th at 10am entitled, “38.2%:Surviving Covid-19 and Post Intensive Care Unit Syndrome.” Everyone is welcome to attend - you can join the session on Zoom by using Meeting ID: 860 0326 3917 and Passcode 103127.

Join Us for a Guardians Game and "HUGS" Time!
Come and celebrate with us at the Guardians game on Sunday, May 22nd at 1:40pm at Jacob’s Field in the Terrace Club! All employees can attend for free – extra tickets are $61 (this includes food and non-alcoholic beverages – the price is the same for children 3 and older) and Slider will be on hand for photos with the family!

Food Truck Fun with the VNA of Ohio Team
In June, we will be hosting a food truck at the VNA’s offices from 4 – 7pm. The food truck is open to all staff and VNA of Ohio Board members. The truck is from “Off the GRIDdle”, which will have food and non-alcoholic drinks available. Bring your family and spend time with friends you have not seen for a while! We are just putting the planning together on this event and will have more information coming soon! This event has been sponsored by Fisher & Phillips Law Firm.
