Plain Dealer: Pilot Program Already Positively Impacting Individuals, Communities

CLEVELAND, Ohio (September 23, 2017) – Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio's pilot program, the Ambulatory Withdrawal Management Program, was featured on Cleveland.com and in Saturday's Plain Dealer for its positive impact on individuals and communities. So far, VNA of Ohio nurses and social workers have worked with clients from Hitchcock Center for Women and Stella Maris Cleveland.

The nine-month pilot program was launched this past June in partnership with the ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County. The goal of the program is to help clients manage the medical, nursing and social needs for those clients going through opiate withdrawal.
