CLEVELAND, Ohio (March 30, 2018) – On Tuesday, State Representative Mark Romanchuk (R-Ontario) accompanied Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio staff to visit a patient who lived locally and requires in-home care for dementia. The purpose of the visit was to provide Rep. Romanchuck with a better understanding of the service we provide to clients in the area by home health care.
“The majority of Americans say they would like to remain at home as they age, and our services allow them to do that,” said Judy Fisher, Director of VNA of Ohio’s Mid-Ohio office. “It was wonderful to have Rep. Romanchuk experience first-hand how our skilled nurses and clinicians can help patients and keep them in the comfort of their own homes.”
“I found the experience very informative,” said Rep. Romanchuk. “This opportunity to join VNA as they work with patients and families will help me to make more informed decisions that benefit the communities we serve, especially when it comes to the health and well-being of constituents in Richland County.”
