Mental Healthcare is a multidisciplinary network of professionals which may include: psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, police officers, probation officers and social workers. The culture shift in mental healthcare now includes a holistic approach - treating the client as a whole - with recovery as the goal. The objective of the program is to learn the concepts, benefits and best practices related to integrated care and their impact on home healthcare. As well as identifying techniques to integrate these practices that will result in effective patient outcomes.
