The Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio is a charitable, non-profit agency that provides expert and comprehensive home healthcare and hospice services, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. The VNA of Ohio teams up with hospitals, physicians, community agencies and insurance companies to provide skilled nursing care, hospice, rehabilitation services, mental health services, telemonitoring and personal care assistance with everyday living – all in the comfort and privacy of a patient’s home.
Founded in 1902, the VNA of Ohio helped pioneer home healthcare; today it’s the largest home healthcare agency in the area, serving Cleveland and the 19 counties of northeast and central Ohio. A United Way agency, the VNA is fully accredited by the Joint Commissions on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is certified by the state of Ohio to participate in the Medicare/Medicaid program, the Ohio Department of Mental Health, and the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.
