April 4, 2016 – Cleveland, Ohio – VNA of Ohio is pleased to announce that the organization’s Hospice department was found compliant with all applicable Medicare Program requirements at the time of the re-certification survey in January 2016. VNA of Ohio provides high-quality home health and hospice care to promote health, independence and dignity to those living in the community.
This was an ongoing process and a collaborative effort between quality, administration and hospice staff. At VNA of Ohio Hospice, we continually strive to achieve excellence in clinical quality and patient and family satisfaction, and we are proud to have earned this esteemed honor, states Linda Ambrose, VNA of Ohio Hospice Director.
Stated by the Ohio Department of Health, “deficiency free surveys indicate a significant effort on the staff. It is an accomplishment for which the VNA of Ohio Hospice staff can be justifiably proud”.
VNA of Ohio Hospice serves patients and families throughout Northeast Ohio. Services include ongoing medical care and coordination, pain and symptom management, patient and family education and support, social work services, and spiritual and bereavement care.
