Since our beginning in 1902, volunteers have been at the heart of Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio. More than 110 years later, our volunteers continue to generously donate their time and energy into helping our patients and their families.
The Baby Boomer Generation, known for marrying later in life and having children even after, face the decision of delaying retirement as they take on responsibilities for aging loved ones, as well as children of their own. With more than 18% of the American population living in multigenerational households, the growing sandwich generation is forced to accept the financial burdens and the commitment of caring for their loved ones.
